A little redo...

Well good morning girls!!!  I'd like to say that I've checked off everything on my "to do" list while I've been gone, but as these things often go, we didn't get quite as much done as I would have liked...not to mention my son was quite sick and I've been fighting off a cold myself...

But I wanted to at least have something to show you...so although I'm not done fluffing and accessorizing and all that other good stuff...these 2 quick pictures are of my daughter Halena's room, which got a little bit of a redo this past week...

We painted the walls an antique white (doesn't photograhph so well) and I painted her bed and dresser a new lovely shade of {duh} grey that I recently found...yep, I'm still not over the grey thing...

I barely had enough time yesterday to get all of the paint stuff cleaned up and the furniture back in place before there was no light left to take pictures...so we'll have to revisit Halena's room when I have it all complete...

I'm anxious to get around and see what all of you have been up to!  I feel so out of the loop!!  I hope everyone enjoyed their New Year's holiday :)  I'm not quite ready for the week to start, but here it is anyway...

Of course, I didn't forget about anouncing the winner of the contest...it's Chrissy from the Apothacary Shop...email me which pair you want Chrissy, and I will get them right out to you!!!  Thank you to everyone who participated!  I had soooooo much fun reading about your favorite Christmas presents...a true delight!

Hello there Tracy!.., Your pictures of your recent project in your daughters room are wonderful!

I wanted to mention that you are are my list of favorites list on one of my blogs, (and have been for sometime!).., Why do I mention this in particular?

Naturally, because you have an exquisite blog my dear!

I also mentioned the fact that your blog is a favorite of mine, as I have started a new blogging journal and plan to keep better track if you will, of posting comments;(as I have several blogs).

~ I have found that unfortunately I wasn't getting around to lovely people like you, who have a marvelous array of lovely blog postings, nearly often enough!

(I wonder how you personally ever find the time to respond to all of your many wonderful comments from your fellow bloggers)!?..,

You are warmly invited to pop by and enjoy a "tea time" array of visual delights. Should you find a few moments of spare time to enjoy this wee respite, that is to say; (I realize your're very busy)!

Should you have the time to pop by,( and I certainly hope you are able to visit); as you scroll down the page, you may find it to hopefully be quite an enjoyable experience, as I have a blog teaparty every Tuesday and Wednesday on two of my blogs..,

I can't wait to see the completed pictures fo your daughters lovely bedroom!

I'm off to explore and scroll down the pages of your lovely blog right now myself; I dare say I'll be entranced!

Have a marvelous 2010 my dear!

Cheers from Silken Purse @ The Plumed Pen
