Yep, it's true, I've gone a little stencil happy lately! This St. Therese stencil is actually the first stencil that I wanted to use, but just haven't had time to do it until this weekend. You may remember this post that I did back in October, where I redid my 2 year old, Caighton's, room...well, her middle name was chosen after St. Therese of Lisieux, so I felt this lovely French stencil was a perfect addition to the room...
...this little cherub chandi is my favorite
I may put a small shelf under the stencil, but I'm still thinking that one over...when Caighton moves into a "big girl" bed, the room may get changed around, so I have to think long term...
I also wanted to share with you a new blog I came across last week called Dreamy Whites. It is a must see! Maria's style and use of my favorite color white is amazing!!! She just started her blog, but has already created quite a stir here in blogland! Take a quick peek...

Swing by Dreamy Whites and see lots more of Maria's gorgeous house!!!
Have a wonderful week everyone!!! I had this crazy idea to switch my living room and dining room this weekend! So now my house is in complete chaos and I have LOTS of work ahead of me...I do have a plan though, just wait...

a new light shines on my problems."

Hi Tracey,
I LOVE the stencils in your daughter's room. You are AMAZING. You have an amazing style, you put a magic touch on everything you do. I can't wait to try out some of your ideas on my home. Me, my sisters, and mom, are in love with your style (we can't take our eyes off of your blog). I am so honored to have an introduction on YOUR blog. You are way too sweet. I was so excited to email my sisters and mom in disbelief when I read your comment. I couldn't believe you wanted to post about ME. Thank you!! This blogging has been a life changing experience for me. You are all so inspirational.
Thank you
Maria

The stencil looks so cute in your daughters room. Switching rooms around sounds like a big project, I can't wait to see what you have come up with now!!
TOTALLY SWITCH!! if you want, I'll come and help you.....I did it when we were building built in bookshelves and painting wainscoting in the living room - and I absolutely loved it!
the great things about it was it cost zero dollars and was absolutely one of my favorite things to do!
DO IT!
btw; that stencil looks fantastic.
So dreamy. Isn't it fun to redo your rooms. A switch will make the entire house look different. How exciting! Now you got me wanting to do something like that:)
ooooh! I can't wait to see what you do with your magical touches around your house!
Have a great week, friend ~
Ahhh, Therese is my confirmation saint, should I tell you what relic (really! a real relic!) I have to make you swoon?
That stencil is just gorgeous, I might need that to put in my little prayer corner above my prie deux.
And you're right, Maria does have a lovely blog. She's a brand new blogger and already has us all captivated!
Have a wonderful week!
Anne

Gretchen
P.S. A shelf would be cute!
Lovely stencil, Tracey.
And I love it when you decide to switch around your rooms. Can't wait to see!
Will go visit Dreamy Whites now....
The stencil looks amazing...you should see the mess in my house right now...in the middle of building a built-in in the dining room...painting...sewing...but having a blast doing it.
Hi Tracey! I love this Stencil! & Gosh! So appropriate for Caighton's room! I was named for St. Teresa of Avila.. I was raised Roman Catholic... I like Jeanne D'Arc's letter stencils..The ornate white ones..Very pretty!
Love that blog Dreamy Whites! Cant wait to see what she posts next! Brian & I have been busy painting..My living room is now Gray/Grey..Fireplace surround is now white. I had such a hard time finding the right color!
Hope you have a Beautiful week!
Big Hugs ~ Teresa
Beautiful blog. I'm going to try my hand at stenciling. We have a shop in the Ozarks (MO) and we use some similar decorating tricks. Love your daughters bedroom. Jan
Can't wait to see the change in rooms!
You are way tooo busy!
Melinda
Love that Tracey! Gorgeous way to use a stencil lady:)
Hi Tracey, I love the stenciling in your daughter's room. I love what you did in her room and this just tops it off perfectly.
Isn't Maria's house amazing? I love her style. I found her blog the other day and had to have my husband look at it, since we too, live in a modular home. He loved it as well, esp. since he too is a cowboy (& cop) and now realizes he's not the only one living in a sea of white and pastels.
hugs
the stencil is really fabulous and beautiful! What a great idea!
PS I haven't forgotten about you!
Dear Tracey,
Thanks so much for yoour lovely comment..... and thanks for your support re my J d'Arc stencil and your faith in me that I will do it O.K. !!!!
I think that I'm a little wary only because I haven't done it this way before. I have done loads of stencilling in the past, but not in the Jeanne d'Arc way. I think I will start with the small one and see how I get on.Do you use black paint for yours ? Thanks again for all of your help. When I finally pluck up courage to do it, I'll do a post on it and show you. XXXX
Oh My!! So fresh and so inspiring to me! I just ordered a sectional just like this one! I can't wait! This post is exactly the look I want to achieve! Thanks so much for posting this today~~~
XO

Will you be selling anymore stencils or Madonna pictures that are in your etsy shop? Love the room and Dreamy Whites is my new favorite blog. Makes me want to run out and buy a mobile home and decorate it. LOL.....Love your daughters room!
I love it- so gorgeous. I have been wanting to do this in my little breakfast nook.
I absolutely love what you have done in your daughter's room. It's beautiful and peaceful just as a bedroom should be.
Now I will pop over to Dreamy Whites. Thanks for sharing. You are always so nice.
Tracey amor, I feel like I haven't been here in forever :) Your lil ones bedroom came out gorgeous, the stencil looks beautiful there...I am still getting things ready to send to you...I figure by the time you get it..it just might be Christmas again and will be ever soo useful :) Besos, Rose
ps...Amor, Thank you for your lovely birthday wish...you all made me smile till it hurt! (what a wonderful hurt...no? :)
Oh Tracey, you mean I'm going to have another very favorite? Do you sometimes think "it's always whiter on the other side of the st?"
I'm still trying to pull off all white in my dining room, I think it wants to be sepia tones...we'll see...and your daughter's room is to die for. Love it all. thanks,
Hugs to you, Lisa
Tracey, that is just the most beautiful stencil. I wish I had the patience to try my hand at something like that, but I wouldn't even be able to get it on the wall straight.
Debbie
Tracey,
Your stencil is really unique & quite 'you'. I ordered a really cool one of a china cup from the stencil library in London. Intended for a kitchen cupboard. The project remains unfinished..lol. Thanks for the heads up on Dreamy Whites. I'm heading right over. Lisa
Where can I buy the stencil? I just joined your blog & love it. You are very talented!
Tracey my dear, Happy New Year!
Your blog is an absolute feast for the eyes, I just love coming here!
Sorry I didn't get back to you re: the magazine, but your email went into my spam mailbox and I only discovered it the other day!
Suffice to say tho, that I've actually managed to find a supplier of the english magazine in the UK, so I guess I will probably use them from now on, but I would just like to say 'Thank You' for coming to my rescue and sending it to me!
But I don't think your website has seen the last of me yet!
Happy blogging!
Mxx
Beautiful!
St. Teresa was my mom's favorite saint and everytime I am at St. Patrick's in Manhattan, I always stop by the statue, light a candle and say a prayer. Lovely.
I'm lovin' the chippy door. I so would love one of those:) Great stencil Tracey!
