Musical Furniture...

Well, that's what it feels like sometimes around here, since I seem to need to change and rearrange almost daily!  I took a few pictures yesterday in Halena's room...the last of the switcheroo results...the small dresser that is now the side table for her bed used to be in the {old} dining room...when I switched the rooms, there was no longer a spot for it...but I'm happy with how it looks in her room (for now!)...

If any of the pictures in today's post look a little "funny," it's because I was playing around in Picnik...just trying to keep things interesting...I kind of like the "fuzzy" look for some of the photos...gives it a vintagey feel.  I'm actually getting ready to take the plunge and try and learn Photoshop...yikes...I think it will be able to do more of what I'd really like to do with my pictures...my friend Traci has generously agreed to try and teach me the basics - thank goodness for friends!

I have been going around the house adding fresh flowers here and there to try and infuse a little Spring into our home...hydrangeas for Halena's room...

{same picture as the first one, just more sepia added}

I feel a little lost without a big project looming over my head...much to my husband's dismay...maybe it's time to head into the inspiration files and see what triggers an idea! :)

Hoping all of you have a really wonderful weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it when you play musical furniture, and share your lovely pictures with us. (And if you are lost without a project, just come to my house. I have loads of them.) Love the dresser by her bed. Love all that you do! Have a great weekend, I am so busy watching the Olympics I can't seem to get any blogging done!

Your daughter's room looks lovely and your images are amazing! I've been thinking about diving in to photoshop as well but figure I'll spend too much time tinkering with photos and won't get around to posting anything.

I love this whole look. My favorite flowers are hydrangeas and white hydrangeas in this room make the whole look very fresh! I need to get brave and figure out how to use photoshop.

Once again...love your photos! I have photo shop on my computer and haven't a clue how to use it. Very sad I know. Maybe someday!! Have a wonderful day.

So, SO pretty(I think that's what I type into this comment box every single time, friend)! I just love what you're doing, and for the record, I am SO overwhelmed with PS that I won't buy it yet. I feel like I still need to learn my camera(manual) before I delve into PS, so for now, I just use picnik! :)

I love it - I'm especially smitten with the mirror inside of the rectangular frame. And I love small dressers as side tables.

Anyway. Have a lovely weekend, dear. Your house is looking gorgeous with all your switcheroos.
