Playing with Herbs on my Pallet Table...

Hello!  Happy November!!  I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween weekend and are ready to head into the holidays :)  I won't start talking Christmas just yet, but we do put our tree up early around here and my brain is already thinking Christmas :))

I wanted to show you the table my husband made for me out of an old pallet that we've had since my original Jeanne d' Arc order came from Denmark last fall and some scrap wood.  It's a little big for this space, but I still intend to put a small farm table here when I find one that I love...and then this table will become my potting bench outside next spring!  Or, at least that's the plan.

The potting bench idea had me thinking it was time to start working with some of the herbs from the garden before the deep freeze sets in...I needed to start gathering some seeds to store for spring and make a few dried herb posies to use throughout the winter for things like table settings, gift wrapping, and decorating.

So I snapped a few pictures to share, before things got messy...

I love the rustic quality of the table, but I painted it a pretty shade of grey for contrast and added a few herb stencils...

My favorite French pot...

Well, that and trick-or-treating took up most of my weekend!

Happy November!  Blessings for a lovely week!!!

Your hubby did a great job, it's beautiful, and your artistry certainly added to it, Tracey. I just purchased a rustic old farm table a couple weekends ago. For now it's outside, but I'm still debating, on using it for dining on the patio
