Baking

Hi!  Just a quick post today as the week has gotten away from me and here we are at Thursday already!  I've been busy baking {and eating} and wrapping and trying to get all things Christmas underway over here!

I needed a quick gift for a friend the other day, so I made a few batches of Cappuccino Love Bites since I know that she loves these particular cookies as much as I do.  I make them every year, even though they aren't very Christmassy looking...I just really love how they taste with a cup of coffee in the morning!!  You can find the recipe *HERE*

Wrapping up gifts is always one of my favorite parts of the gift giving process.  For this quick little gift, I stamped the name of the cookies on one side of a tag and "a cup of love" on the other...

I spend all year looking for interesting vintage containers at the flea market that I can use to put gifts in...I just love adding that little extra something to the gift to show the person you really made an effort for their gift...even for the little gifts...

As the baking and eating continues over here until Christmas, I'd love to hear what your favorite Christmas cookie is to make??!

Happy baking and happy weekend!!!

Tracey

p.s. I am back in stock on the fatigue canvas tote bags for any of you who were still wanting one...

Oh, the cookies look excellent! I must try to bake it.. but I'm afraid the translation in polish will be not so correct.
I know some blogs with a lot of great recipes but there are in polish. Hmm.. there should be some english version of recipes: www.mojewypieki.blox.pl :)
I often use that blog. Enjoy! :)

So funny.....I am in a cup of joy swap for Christmas. I bought a measuring cup just like that for my swap partner. I am putting a snowman, hot chocolate and peppermint sticks. I thought it would look so much cuter that a cup or a mug.

Great idea!! My families fave cookies that I make are snickerdoodle. I have to adapt it as my daughter is vegan, but that will not be a problem at all!! I hope you are enjoying the holiday preparations with your family and friends! Warm hugs to you! xxoo :)

I really love the idea of collecting vintage vessels during the year to give away gifts in, Tracey! My problem would be I wouldn't want to part with any of them. lol! Your cookies sound & look delicious! Definitely going to make those this month! My fav Christmas cookie is the old fashioned sugar cookie with lots of frosting! lol! :)

It looks so sweet, Tracey! It makes me happy too...because I recently found a vintage tin cup whilst out treasure hunting and now have it displayed in my little shop filled with a couple of foil-wrapped chocolate Santas and a vintage bottle brush tree!

Happy weekend. Your friend must be so pleased with your gift!

Hi Tracey,
Love the vintage measuring cup, so precious. I can see why you look throughout the year for such goodies for your goodies ;)

I'm not a big cookie person but after seeing your photos, I may ask my husband to give it a try (he's the baker in the house and loves to do it). I have to admit, I do love anything w/coconut so I'd probably love a coconut cookie.

About the totes, love mine! It's full of lavender from my garden and has been to our organic goods store w/me many a time already.

Sorry this is so long!
