Hello and Happy December! I wanted to share the Christmas touches I've added to Halena's room...I got a little camera happy in the process, so I hope I don't bore you with too many pictures :)
I found this picture of a little girl on her First Communion in one of the old French letters that I bought from Jeanne's lovely shop, and since Halena made her First Communion this year, it just kind of caught my heart when I saw it...so I tucked it in with a few of my favorite vintage silver ornaments...
And this beautiful lavender pillow is one I bought last Christmas from Sandi...
As with the rest of the house, I tried to use some fresh greenery in Halena's room as well...the mingling of the evergreen and lavender makes for a really pretty aroma.
I bought the paper and glitter clock face while at Farm Chicks this past June...
The vintage prayer card bottles are a project I did last year...you can read about it *HERE* if you'd like.
These sweet little button ornaments are ones I bought at the flea market last year from Judy...
And I just embellished a simple galvanized bucket from Ikea with some burlap ribbon, greenery, and a St. Bernadette medal to house the branches...
I am really enjoying seeing all of the beautiful Christmas decorations out there on all of your blogs...it's truly my favorite time of the year {minus the bitter cold}!!!
Enjoy your weekend!
Tracey
p.s. I wanted to answer a few quick questions that people have been asking me...the bird plates from my Thanksgiving post are from Anthropologie {on clearance right now!} and the color of my pallet table is Granite Dust by Valspar {Lowe's}.

Tracey! Your blog just keeps getting better and better. Restrained but extreme beauty! It's so very refreshing and I'm really glad that you share it all with us!!! I just haven't been in a Christmas mood, this year. Blogland is going to save me, I think!

Tracey~ Your style is so uniquely your own. You have such an ease when you decorate everything flows and looks like it belongs where you place it,when you add your extra touches at christmas like you did in Halena's room with the greenery and decorations it just makes it so much more special for this time of year. So serene! I particularly like the way the photographs look vintage. Just stunning!
Have a great day

i think you should own an inn and then i could come stay there....
This is absolutely gorgeous! I'm jealous! I want Halena's room! :)
Ask halena if she wants a roommate. Tell her I am quiet and won't take up too much room. It looks gorgeous Tracey. I have only got my tree and lights up. I can't wait to get home and decorate. Miss ya!
Christmas elegance like only you could do Tracey! Especially enjoyed the photo of the christening with the silver ornaments because not only is it beautiful, it is so touching that you included for it's relevance to your daughter. xo ~Lili
The ornaments with the buttons are just darling! Oh tracey, your daughter is one very lucky girl! Just stunning, thank you for always bringing such beauty to my day,

What beauty abounds in your little girls room Tracey! She is so lucky to have a mom who makes her room a special one...one I am sure she will always remember. Gorgeous photos!!
Blessings~
Every time I see something wrapped in burlap, I think it's the last 'new' thing I'll see burlap used with. Then YOU come along and wrap your bucket with it and tie it with twine, add some nature to it ---- and I've got another idea to steal from you, Tracey! lol! I love the sweetness of the decor in your little one's room. It's sooo pretty! I just want to sit here and soak it all up. :)
xoxo laurie
Creative AND lovely all at the same time!
I sure your daughter is loving it.
Melinda
Tracey, it is all absolutely divine.
I simply adore how you incorporate faith into your decor. As it should be, given the season, and I know that you "get" that.
Love and admire you, my friend!
XOXO,
Anne

I laughed as I read your apology for too many pics...are you kidding? ,,we cant get enough of you or your pics..you inspire, delight, bless and encourage a fresh perspective and brighten any day..thankyou sweet lady...
I love this room. It looks so bright and nice and yet cozy. Perfect now when the dark winter is upon us.
And I love the pictures. I just started my own blog and realized how difficult it is to get good pictures.
Is she in training for the nunery?
Oh the loveliness of it all! And keeping with the reason for the season!
Just breathtaking, Tracey. I especially love the stocking and items on her chair. So many beautiful simple details. Sweet dreams to Halena,
- Susan
Really Lovely, Tracey. My boys have a single strand of lights in their room... LOL. I hsould try tod decorate more, but my little guy still likes to play with the decorations- so they don't stay in any one place too long. Last year, the tree ended up pretty bare from the floor up to about 3 feet!!
Halena's room is stunning...can you come do my room now ;o)
Simply beautiful and inspiring!
Graciela
What simple, elegant touches. I'm particularly entranced by the sweet button ornaments--I might have to make some of those myself. Just delightful!
I'm going to see if the Anthropologie near me at home has those bird dishes: we are huge "birders," and if there's a weakness I have, it's for linens and dishes, so I glommed onto those when I first saw them. Thanks for the heads up--I looked online and couldn't find them, so I'm hoping our store has them when I get home from being on the road.
I'm also one of those folks who purchases old photos from flea markets--I always ache to think someone's beautiful family images wind up in a bin somewhere, and I'm drawn to buy them up so that they'll be in good hands!
Ohhh, how stunning! So clean and fresh and wonderful. :-)
I'm going to ask Santa for a copy of the book I hope you'll be publishing one day...one day very soon! One of those oversized types of books you sit on the coffee table. Please!
Love your work, Tracey! Always such a joy to visit. Xo, Sue
You certainly did not bore us with your photos, they are simply beautiful!
Trish xo
You are so talented, Tracey! Your decorations are always in such exquisite taste...simple and elegant.
Seriously?? YOU can never post too many of your gorgeous pictures for my taste! I am thinking of keeping a drool cloth next to my laptop for when I look at your blog. I absolutely LOVE everything you do!
So pretty Tracey. Love that mirror and the ornament with the little buttons. So cute!
we had that turquoise ornament when we were kids...boy does that bring back memories...thanks for that..what a beautiful home you have...Cynthia
