More Christmas Decorating

Good morning!  I'm running a little late this morning, seems none of us wanted to get out of bed with it only being 6 degrees out!  So, I am going to keep the chit chat short today and mostly just stick to the pictures...

As you know, I love to change out this little iron shelf on a regular basis...so I added a bit of Christmas to it this weekend...

I found these beautiful old sheet music pages from the 1800's at the flea market this month...

And I also found a whole tray of vintage clay pots, which I just love...

Hope you all found a little Christmas cheer over the weekend :))

Happy Monday!

Tracey

Love the change out of the little iron shelf! Your displays look so natural, just like they fell into place! You must live in an old house, looks like you have very high ceilings. Your photos are the best, I would love to take lessons from you! Have a great week!

So perfect! I have a typewriter table in my foyer but it doesn't look that great. Mine has only one shelf so I have a fragment from a building in downtown Detroit on the floor. I also have a lantern kind of like yours sitting in a urn on one side of the table. Yours is stunning!

Chateau Chic Boutique said...

Hi Tracey,
It might seem silly, but...your little metal table area that you said you change out all the time...that has really inspired me. I'm thinking I have a little area that I'd love to do the same thing with. I'm always making things for my booth (some so hard to part with). How fun it would be to change out an area so I can enjoy some of those things for a while - and so many more things I have tucked away in the garage that never make their way in my home!
I'm sure you've heard it a million times but your home is really beautiful! Thanks for the simple, little inspiration you've given me today.
Christmas blessings to you,
Missy

I can't help but wonder what that is in the last photo. Is that a finial? It's lovely! I actually collect finials. We have a lot of curtains in the house, but I've never grown tired of changing the finials every month.

Those pieces of hand forged iron hardware are my prized possessions. I would know if a piece is missing or has been used without my permission. We use other iron hardware for our curtains, such as brackets and tiebacks, but the finials are my favorite.
