Good morning! I'm running a little late this morning, seems none of us wanted to get out of bed with it only being 6 degrees out! So, I am going to keep the chit chat short today and mostly just stick to the pictures...
As you know, I love to change out this little iron shelf on a regular basis...so I added a bit of Christmas to it this weekend...
I found these beautiful old sheet music pages from the 1800's at the flea market this month...
And I also found a whole tray of vintage clay pots, which I just love...
Hope you all found a little Christmas cheer over the weekend :))
Happy Monday!
Tracey

Love the change out of the little iron shelf! Your displays look so natural, just like they fell into place! You must live in an old house, looks like you have very high ceilings. Your photos are the best, I would love to take lessons from you! Have a great week!

Six degrees? If I catch myself complaining about the cold, I'm going to slap myself. I live in Northern California and we have nothing to complain about...we're just a little spoiled. I bet it's pretty where your at. Your home is so beautiful. And...I love your metal shelf, it's fun to see you change the decorations on it. I hope you have a wonderful day!

Hi Tracey,
sooo wonderful christmas decoration... wishing you warm socks, cosy blankets and hot chocolate....
xxBine
I love your closeup pics of your items' details. And it's all in the details! Joyeux Noël!!
So perfect! I have a typewriter table in my foyer but it doesn't look that great. Mine has only one shelf so I have a fragment from a building in downtown Detroit on the floor. I also have a lantern kind of like yours sitting in a urn on one side of the table. Yours is stunning!
Oh, sigh...your home is simply stunning, Tracey. I love the industrial shelf mixed with the natural and pretty. Makes me count the days until 'Romantic Prairie Style' book is out..
Bundle up in the meantime,
- Susan
Wow!!! Those claypots and the white lantern just caught my eye! These pictures belong in a magazine! Stunning! What a peaceful blog.
Merry Christmas
Rosemary...
Oh! so many lovely things...x
Hi Tracey~
I blogged about your feature in Romantic Country. Come take a look.
So pretty Tracy, and those sweet garden pots look so good! Stop bye the show thisSaturday in Wheaton, it will be good!!! Diane
Lovely! Next year why don't you take a little trip to Kansas and decorate my house for the holidays? I'll bet you've always wanted to come to Kansas--right?
beautiful, beautiful Tracey...I just love, love that lantern:)
Craziness...I have my mercury glass candlesticks all down the middle of my dining room table too. Hope your clan has a great holiday...you have inspired Judy to get cracking and sell some more online- she is going CRAZY keeping up with her wreath orders this week. We'll be at grayslake in Janaury. Merry Christmas, notre amie.
You can make a clay pot a fabulous work of ART! Gorgeous images.... OHHHH! White Christams!
Yvobbe
can ya stand one more compliment??? i'm swooning! everything-perfect. how do you get your clay pots to have that look? i adore that.
the old mercury and rust...ooooooh!!!
Hi Tracey,
It might seem silly, but...your little metal table area that you said you change out all the time...that has really inspired me. I'm thinking I have a little area that I'd love to do the same thing with. I'm always making things for my booth (some so hard to part with). How fun it would be to change out an area so I can enjoy some of those things for a while - and so many more things I have tucked away in the garage that never make their way in my home!
I'm sure you've heard it a million times but your home is really beautiful! Thanks for the simple, little inspiration you've given me today.
Christmas blessings to you,
Missy
Tracey! I am in love with that cart! Thanks for inspiring me today :)
Here's to a warm and Happy Christmas for all!!

I've incorporated so many of your elegant ideas in my decorating, Tracey. Thank you for all the wonderful holiday posts!

Beautiful, Tracey! This is my first time seeing your dining set in the background and I {LOVE} your mismatched chairs. I'm going for the same look but it's been quite a challenge to find the perfect mismatched chairs. They have to be just right, right? You are so incredibly talented. Merry Christmas!

wanted to come back over & invite you over to my blog for Cottage Flora Thursday's...xoox
So beautyfull pictures!

I can't help but wonder what that is in the last photo. Is that a finial? It's lovely! I actually collect finials. We have a lot of curtains in the house, but I've never grown tired of changing the finials every month.
Those pieces of hand forged iron hardware are my prized possessions. I would know if a piece is missing or has been used without my permission. We use other iron hardware for our curtains, such as brackets and tiebacks, but the finials are my favorite.
