Any holiday that devotes a day all to love is all good in my book...and this year I wanted to do a little something extra special for my kids, so I set up a mini Valentine's party just for them! Here are a few pictures from our little party...
And I tried to add loving touches to the table setting to show my little ones how very special I think they are...
I even brought out the family heirloom punch bowl. And here's an easy tip, if you want to make regular punch extra pretty, try floating a few lavender sprigs in the punch bowl...fresh ones work great, but you can also use dried lavender sprigs from your garden {not the store as they may have been treated}, just cut the stems off first...
Have a wonderful week!
Tracey

Oh Tracey,
what a wonderful little treat for your sweethearts!! I love the punches of color against the gray and white furniture!
You are a very special Mom!
Have a lovely day.
Sincerely,
Melinda
So cute! I bet they were very excited to see that set up :)
What a fun treat for them! I'm sure they loved it.
My son is still a little bit young to understand the concept of the day, but I gave him a tiny little bear. He walked around all night holding it in his arms like a baby, patting it's head. Then, at bedtime, he wanted me to give him a blankie too. I had to use a tiny washcloth. It was so cute.
Kids are awesome!
Just Beautiful...You have a flair for decorating...love the grays and muted colors. Your family is very lucky...Have a blessed week. Tiff

My daughter hosted a lovely family Valentine Brunch on Sunday and my son sent me a picture text of the vignette he set up for is sweet girlfriend! They both said they were inspired by childhood memories and my blog friends. I was blown away!

This valentine set up is TO DIE FOR !
I go back and forth, debating with myself if i should decorate our next home in vintage or not( we are in an apartment right now for a while)....
It just seems like my children ruin and break so many of my precious treasures and favorite cintage furniture pieces...
but your pictures remind me just how much I LOVE VINTAGE decor!
