Good morning! I have lots and lots of pictures for you today! Thank you to everyone for your well wishes on me and my girls being sick, as well as, your lovely comments on my sneak peek...they were truly, truly appreciated!!!
I guess I will jump right into it...
This wall has the vintage doors from the 1800's that I have had for awhile now with the intention of using in this room when I finally was able to redo everything. I decided to put a table in here for the kids to eat their snacks on and color and craft on...even though the kitchen table is right next to this room, they ALWAYS want to eat and color in the actual family room, so this way I save having to wash the slipcovers constantly and they have a special spot for themselves {well, okay, it's kind of for me too :)}.
They each get their own stool...
I just like how this old paint brush adds a pop of color, so it sits on the arched window turned chalkboard {you know my obsession with chalkboards!}...
This vintage French deed box houses all of the kid's crayons, scissors, glue, etc.
...and this old candy bucket is perfect for storing all of their coloring books
I asked Anne Marie's talented husband, Jason {Klaske Construction}, to build a cabinet for us to house our tv in out of old barn wood {so that I can hide it away when I want to!}...he did a fabulous job and I am so happy with how it turned out!!! I gave it a coat of white paint and topped it with some of the many blue mason jars I have from my husband's family...
An old caddy full of lavender pillows...
I will have to show you inside this cabinet in another post, as I am sure you've had enough pictures for now :)
My intention in this room was to create a space that was family friendly while still blending in the love I have for decorating. I will continue to tweak things, but I am just about ready to say I'm done in here!! :))
We are supposed to be getting a blizzard here today...they are predicting 12 - 20 inches of snow! I plan to sit down with a pot of coffee and a good book and wait it out, you won't catch me trying to leave the house!! Stay warm my friends!

Good Morning! I don't think you could ever give us "too many" pictures of your gorgeous home!
Your family room is perfect...I love every inch of it. I love the understated French feel, the pieces you've chosen, the area for your kids and the color in the quince. It's exactly the feel and look I would love to move towards.
You are always the biggest inspiration!
The storm has already started here...the coffee is brewing!
Thank you for the fast shipping with my mag. order - I love every page of it. :)
oh tracey, its beautiful! i love the craft area! where oh where did you get those cute stools? and how are you liking your painted concrete floors? stay safe and warm during the storm!!! xo
Tweak things?? I see absolutely nothing to tweak! It's all perfection! I'm in love with the mantle arrangement the most, but the doors and table arrangement are a VERY close second.
Tracey,Tracey.....Tracey..oh my gosh what a lovely space....like heaven on earth...so pretty!!! I want to see every detail again...you have such a gift my sweet friend!!! Oh and yes we are going to get hit by that same storm too...stay warm! x0x0 Oh and our kitchen is done!!!!!!!!!!!
This is really beautiful, Tracey! I think you've definitely achieved your functional & pretty vision for this space. I could honestly see several of those shots in Jeanne d'Arc magazine...submit away, girlie! I see no need for tweaking but such is the nature of those who love our homes like we do. I didn't know you all were sick but happy to read you're feeling better.
Hugs,
Jami
Hello,
It came out so beautiful. What a pretty place to color for your children. I could blog at that very spot. Enjoy and thank you for sharing with us. True inspiration!
Claudia
Tracey, this is too pretty for words. Honestly, I just love the craft area for your children, and their little stools are darling. Every corner presents eye candy delightfulness!!! Love the cabinet, it' perfect! Anne Marie's hubby did a wonderful job. We've always housed our t.v. in an armoire, for me it so nice to hide it away by simply closing the doors any time we want, and makes for cozy chattier visits when company comes. Your style reminds me also of Maria at Dreamy Whites, you two are just amazing with your decor. Love the little basket of lavender pillows, just wonderful, all of it, xoxo tami
Stunning! You did a Amazing Job Tracey. XO Jamie
Tracey! It's beautiful! Perfection! I can almost smell the lavendar pillows! Great job! Enjoy! xoxo Beth
I just love everything you do! what a fabulous room and all the little awesome ideas............ beautiful, just beautiful!!!! enjoy your snow, I'm enjoying our snow day here in Wisconsin!
Tracey it's stunning! I love it. I like that you kept it family friendly too. I think it's so important that the whole family can be comfortable in the living spaces of a home. Nicely done!
Oh, and I absolutely love those stools!
Oh Tracey it all is perfection to me. I especially love that work table and your tv hutch is great. Your couch and chairs are all so cozy and your blooming branches add the perfect touch of color. Now can you come work your magic in my house??!! It's a tad warmer here in Houston, although we are supposed to get snow on Thursday which is quite exciting for us. ;)
Stay safe and warm and enjoy your beautiful surroundings.
Hugs~
T
I'm swooning over your white on white decorating - everything is gorgeous and the room is so spacious.
I'm going to have to go cut some quince branches and force them to bloom. Yours look fantastic because you've cut a good bunch of them!
Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Candylei
Beautiful as always, Tracey! I love all of your little touches, and your mantle is of special interest to me....I am on the lookout for a way to display the french page that I received from you, and I *adore* the way that you styled yours. I am on the lookout for a worthy frame!
Amy
Oh so lovely Tracey... We are waiting for more weather to head into our area also... All schools are closed and many cancellations in effect... I like you so not plan on as uch as walking out to get the mail....
Absolutely beautiful space!
Hello,
I had to come back. It's truly a magnificent room and should be published in a magazine. You have inspired me to do some more decorating today.
Claudia
Hello Tracey,
Oh, it all looks amazing! I just love the simplicity & serenity of this room, coupled with your clever functional solutions. I can relate to washing slipcovers & hiding coloring books. :)
Stay warm - we've got 2 major snowstorms here between today & tomorrow. Your lovely blooming branches help me dream of spring...
- Susan
I'm not sure I have seen a prettier and more functional room...I love *love* those stools and am drooling over the one that has the number 13 on it:)

xo
Tracey, at Larkspur... is visit to an art gallery before work...what a gift!*Lynne*
Tracey,
Once again you've "dressed for success and to impress" a room that is a design dream. What a beautiful room that isn't scary white, but inviting for young and old...me being the old!
We're not expecting anything like a blizzard here at the North Pole Texas, but it is recording setting cold with sleet and snow...just in time for the Super Bowl!
Debbie
P.S. Can you give me a little more info on your floor painting...when you have time. No hurry...not like I'm gonna be painting today!
I don't even know where to begin but I love this room! You have amazing taste! Gorgeous pillows, antique mirrors, industrial stools, vintage clock... It all works so well together!
Thanks for sharing your space! Don't mind me, if I come back at look at it 100 times :) Michelle
This is just beautiful, Tracey...and functional which is so important when you have little ones. I just love all of your creativity with the details! Definitely magazine worthy!
We are preparing for the big one, too, here in Chicago. I hope you stay warm, dry and safe. Coffee and a book sound like a great idea. Oh, and a nice fire!

There are so many beautiful things in this room that I LOVE! I think the table for the kids (FAB table btw) and the doors and chalkboard are GENIOUS! I'm SO in love with those STOOLS! I WANT THEM! ;-) Truly a lovely and welcoming room that looks so fresh!
I forgot to add...too many pictures? Silly girl! I could handle MANY more of this great space!
I adore the room, e.v.e.r.ything about it, and especially the craft table! It's stylish and practical, and fits right in with the room.
Beautiful! Such a great use of wonderful items to hold everyday stuff!
Owwww i love your room you know that !! i finally find that blue ball glasses !! three of them i am so happy now !!..come and join my party darling you are more than welcome............love love Ria....
Oh no Tracey, we haven't had enough...the photos are lovely as always...and the room is beautiful! I think a blizzard is a good thing as it gives you an excuse to ensconce yourself in there for the day and just drink it all in. I think one of my favourite details is the three little stools...then again I also love the fire surround, which is so clever...and the t.v. cabinet fits in perfectly....Enjoy, Robx
Your FR turned out fabulous, Tracey!!! It's the perfect mix of style and comfort! I agree with Becky... you can never show us too many pictures... keep'm comin'!! :D

Pure loveliness, Tracey! I'm sure it won't be long before we start seeing your family room in a magazine. :) It's all pulled together so elegantly, yet with a simple pretty look. Your sofa is just gorgeous and I love the wall and floor paint colors. Your details are creative - my favorite is the collection of lavender pillows in the basket.. very nice! I love that you have an area for your kids to do their thing! Beautiful!! Keep cozy in this crazy snow storm.

Tracey, I love it all! Particularly the attention to the tiny little details, like crystal handles and old letters and keys, etc. I love how you're committed to one style and remain very consistent.
What I want to know is how you keep all that white so white with little ones, lol!!!
Tracey, you are amazing! It's beautiful! I love your attention to details. Gorgeous!
Your family room is to-die-for! Loving the TV cabinet, the comfy white couches, vintage grain sacks and the mantel. Zinc buckets are great too!

Tracey this is so, so beautiful! And as always your photography is gorgeous. I love the cabinet you had made too. TVs are part of life but definitely don't "match" the vintage aesthetic we all love. It's the perfect solution! I love every single detail!

Came by to look at your chandelier again. Love it, hope to find something at the flea market possibly close to it (finger's crossed) this weekend.

Basically, I love everything in your photos. The photos themselves are so well shot. Love the fireplace with the frames, love how everything is fresh but vintage, love the bon bon box, the keys, and the old door leaning up against the wall. I also love that this is yours and not photos from a magazine! A treat.
"Stunning" seems to be my very favorite word I use when visiting you sweet Tracey:))
Love, Love it all:))

OMG those keys, that deed box! such fabulous treasures...
I love all your white decor! Just wondering about the upkeep of your white floor. I'm thinking about painting our wood floors white, but worry about whether the dirt sticks and shows much? Any tips would be helpful! Thanks!
I love the old mantelpiece that is exactly what I am looking for my self but they are not common in my country so maybe I have to build one!
I love your style!
All the best
Mari
