Happy March! There is finally a light at the end of the tunnel, right?! Although March is still a cold month here in the Chicago area, at least I know the worst of it is over...and I am anxiously awaiting Spring!
Just a few Spring inspired images for you today...
I gathered up the last of my quince branches that had leafed out and some hyacinth that I bought, and grouped them together in the lovely lavender bottles that I bought from Dreamy Whites...and then added a few of my vintage maps and an ironstone platter...
And I am waiting for my forsythia branches to open up...I think they are pretty even as little buds :)
Have a great weekend!
Tracey

What beautiful pictures. So love how captured the buds!
The stirrings of spring has to be one of my favourite times of year, still a refreshing nip in the air but things are budding and the sun gains a little strength :-) I ove your old map!

Even when I can't find spring outside my window...I know I'll find it here!! Love every single photo, Tracey; each one is bursting with beauty:)
P.S. Hope to see you at the Na-DA Farm in May:)
Snow is just about out of sight again except for a few patches... Heavy rain for this weekend concerns me some for those who are already in dismay with flooding... Your lovely touches of spring look very inviting... You are right we may get snow but it goes away in a couple days... Stay warm and safe... Glad you are better.....
Hi Tracey.
What beutiful post about spring you bring. I suspect we have the same climate. March is a bit of cold moth here as well. But we call it the first spring month. Snow is diseapering and buds fattens up on the trees. Bulbs start to carefully peep up from the soil. Wonderful time.
I used to have a Forsythia, but since we moved I have not planted a new one. A bit silly. They brings such joy and message of spring.
Have a wonderful day. :)

Beautiful. Glad you are finally well. I came down with this flu thats going around this week...but I am recovering faster than my busy family members did because I am able to stay home and rest.
I have missed ordering the Jeanne D Arc living mags from you, but my hubby has been laid off his job for over 6 mos. now so until we get back on our feet these lil luxuries have to wait. ox

So beautiful. Although I guess I will always feel that hyacinths are more christmas than summer, but I guess that's just because of tradition.
I love those branches, and I hope that I will soon be able to snap some from my own garden that is covered in snow.
This is beautiful blog, I think I will stay :)
Gorgeous as always Tracey! You have a wonderful weekend too!
Here in the Netherlands, the sun was shining this afternoon. I can't wait till it's getting warmer and and we can live outdoor. Sadly here March is also still cold. Last night it has frozen about 5 degrees c. So 'for now we're enjoying the sun in our lovely warm home. Have a nice weekend!
