The Rustic and the Pretty

Hello my friends!  Just a quick post tonight to share with you a few pics of the new {old} caddy I bought recently...

it was used to collect grapes in a French vineyard...and I fell in love with it the instant I saw it!

for now, it sits on my dining room buffet...

I love mixing rustic pieces with something more delicate and pretty...I think it adds a lot of interest to your decorating when you do that.

I filled the inside with some of my ironstone collection, some gorgeous ranunculus I got at Trader Joe's, vintage spoons, a family heirloom doily, and one of my favorite French bottles from Dreamy Whites...

Thank you so very much for taking the time to stop by!
Wishing you all a fabulous weekend ahead!!!

I'm hoping for nice weather at the flea market on Saturday :))

I love this vintage wine basket thingy. The people who used to live in my house were in the wine industry and I just found wood win crates in my garage....I'm contemplating what to do with them. Love your buffet.

Dear Tracey,
How do you combine them the stuff is just perfect! Ranunculus are my favorite flowers in spring!
Next week I will go to my first flea market this year and I look forward to. But my two daughters will be there, and walk with them through a flea market is a little effort. In the end they have bought more than I :-) !
Wish you a wonderful weekend,
Big Hugs,
Yvonne

That caddy is AMAZING!!! And ranunculus, ahhhh be still my heart! I sooooo wanted ranunculus as my wedding bouquet, but the florist says the keep growing once they're cut and are hard to make a bouquet out of. I wish I would have forced the issue! Beautiful flower!!
