Good morning! As promised, I did manage to take a few pictures of my newly updated kitchen. This was a minor redo and not a complete makeover, here's what we did...my husband installed butcher block countertops, a farmhouse sink and new faucet, and trim where the old backsplash used to be...we also painted the walls to match the family room and I painted the island white...
You know how much I love white, but I wanted to be sure that the kitchen felt warm and inviting, and I feel that the wood countertops really helped to balance the white and do that! I have to mention too, that my inspiration for choosing the butcher block countertops was my friend Jen and her beautiful kitchen makeover!
The sink skirt is made of vintage mangle cloth that my friend Maria kindly shared with me and my mom was generous enough to sew for me.
{The grain sack runner, French jars and crate, gorgeous aprons, and French bottle carrier are all from Dreamy Whites...Maria is a great source for all things French :)) }
I still have work to do in here to get it to look how I envision, but I wanted to at least share some pictures with you!
I wish all of you a wonderful, blessed Easter!!!
Tracey

Now I just love the look even more seeing it in your beautiful kitchen. Tracey, I love
your re-do! I've
thought of replacing
our granite counter
tops with butcher

Super cute Tracey. Can't imagine what else you could possibly do to make it any better! Great vintage cart too. Love it all! xo
GORGEOUS. I love looking at your pictures and being inspired. Everything you do is beautiful!
Beautiful kitchen. I noticed you don't have an exhaust fan over your stove, where you've put your microwave. Do you find that you don't need one? I ask because I put in a fan above my stove, but I have no room for my microwave and I could put mine above like yours.
Ta Sammy
Your kitchen is beautiful. Jen Rizzo was inspiration for my kitchen redo. It's still in progress but coming along nicely. Your photos are fabulous. Thanks for all your inspiration.
