Farmhouse Table Setting

Good morning!  I'm back after a little break...I needed to spend some time focusing on my kids and getting them ready to go back to school!  I now have a first grader, a fourth grader and a little one who will be starting preschool after Labor Day!!  I still can't believe how the Summer just flew by!  I'm not quite ready to think "Fall" just yet.

I realized the other day that I never shared with you one of the outdoor table settings I did earlier in the Summer...so here are some of the pics I took of my farmhouse inspired table setting...

I'm still loving {and using} my monogram mugs all the time...

I reused the lovely torn fabric ribbon that Jeanne used to wrap up a package I bought from her shop to add a bit of color to the napkins...

...and I used some of the empty French jam jars to hold herbs from my garden at each place setting...we eat a lot of this jam over here :))

I used mint, thyme, oregano, and lemon thyme...

I'd love to hear what you all have been up to while I've been so absent!

Happy new week!!!

Tracey

I am coming over with Lori (above), hah. What a fun setup....so cute.
Glad you are spending time with the little ones. They grow up way too fast. I am sure you will have so many fun memories. Enjoy the fall.......at least the heat wil be better. I hope anyway.

The little jelly jars holding the herbs must have the best fragrance ever! Your ideas for reusing even the simplest of things just adds so much charm and inspiration in our often too much "throw away" world. I just love it over here Tracey! And I always marvel at how much you get done being a busy mama as well, and I know how much joy you must bring to your family creating beauty like this in and around your home. xoxo ~Lili

Real life is so much more important than blogging, isn't it Tracey ? Your children must come first.
I love your photographs, the table setting, the herbs and the old suitcases. XXXX

Your blog oozes French, I love it!
Family first, I totally get that.
I've been creating away, since the heat is brutal here. Soon, I will be able to enjoy the outdoor activities again.
