Happy Thursday! Today I am sharing a corner of my dining room that I like to change up on a regular basis :) This room is the first room people see when they enter my home, so it is a fun room to update and change seasonally. I changed out the table that I usually have in this corner for my vintage French dry sink and then just gathered some bits of nature and elements from around the house that I already had...
I started taking pictures and then realized that I hadn't added anything to my hanging nest :) So I asked the kids to gather up some of the leaves that have started falling from the tree out front and added those to the nest...
dried scabiosa
I'm not sure what this says :)) But I love these old French poetry books, so I brought them down from my bedroom and added them...
Some burlap and limelight hydrangeas added new life to my old tool caddy...
Happy Autumn!!!
Thank you so much for stopping by...
Tracey

Fall is such a wonderful season and always nice to bring a touch of it indoors. Your dining room is lovely!
Fall is Autumn here in England and I love it too! The turning leaves, promise of Harvest Festival, Halloween and Bonfire Night is so lovely. There are few things nicer than a gorgeous bowl of red apples - they give me that Snow White feeling!
Your dining room is so light and airy but full of character at the same time, I'm inspired :-)

Hello,
Your dining room is set up so lovingly. The rows of silver candlesticks from farmer and your table decorations look just great!
Many greetings,
Uschi
it's a lovely "corner"..just lovely! I liked it before and I like this fall transformation as well. everything you touch turns to beauty. sigh...
Tracey, you've got the magic touch! I like how you spontaneously thought of adding leaves to the nest. It really brings a pop of color to that perfect autumn corner.
It's fun to change things seasonally, isn't it? I'm starting to add fall items to my decor, and am always inspired by your use of nature.
Have a great time at Nada Farm. Wish I could go...maybe someday. :)

oh my... beautiful as always! What a special little corner. t. xoxo
Your kitchen eating area is so beautifully large and sunny, Tracey! I just love those great big windows with the sunlight spilling in. :) My eye was immediately drawn to your bucket of little pots. I have a wooden one outside filled to the top with some. And that hanging nest is such a cute idea! :)

Simply charming, I love the french poetry book open, talking of a Chateau all in white. The bottles are a lovely colour. Thankyou for letting us in. Have a happy Autumn. Love Linda x
I have some dried hydrageas just waiting for me to decorate with. Love your fall look... I haven't yet taken the time to decorate for my favorite season. Better do it before it is too late!
Wish I could be at NaDa Farms in Oct! Hopefully the next one.
Have a great weekend.
You always have just the most amazing ideas for creating an exciting atmosphere pulling in the most humble and simple of elements! I can just imagine the wonderful fall scent of the apples and leaves too. Your creative touches always inspire me Tracey! xoxo ~Lili
Beautiful, Tracey. Love what you did with the chandelier. It's quite appropriate your poem tells of a white castle where the path is endless and under Heaven divine with a secret of trees and gentlemen that are well dressed friends. Perfect for your post!
Happy weekend!

Hello From France !
Here is the translation of the nice poem you show, from Paul Verlaine :
"The path is endless
under heaven, divine
to be light as well !
Do you know what would be
well as the secret
of these trees it ?
Of well-dressed gentlmen,
undoubtedly friends
of Royer-Collard,
go to the castle.
I would consider beautiful
be the elderly.
The castle, all white
with, at his side,
sunset."
Very good instinctive choice !
