Hello!
I wanted to share some of the pictures I took of my little Caighton over the weekend. My friend Jeanne makes the most amazing clothes for her shop, Jeanne Oliver Designs, and recently, she started a feature on her blog on Mondays called, Get the Look.
Get the Look features different women wearing the clothes from her latest collection. I participated in last week's Get the Look post and this week Caighton is featured wearing the adorable Lila Peasant Dress from the "Little Jeanne" line. I LOVE this dress on Caighton...
What can I say...my girl is just a little bit sassy :)) She is obsessed with the idea of riding a horse some day and wears the thrift store cowgirl boots my sister found for her constantly..."horsey" the purse is also a favorite companion!
You can visit Jeanne's beautiful shop here...
...and you can view Jeanne's Get the Look series on her blog *HERE*

I have also been taking some pictures of my niece, Sophie, as she is 10 months old now. So I just wanted to share a quick pic of her precious self too...
The weather has been glorious the last few days and looks to continue that way all week! I am giddy with excitement to get out in my garden this week and enjoy the rare, warm March weather!!
Have a beautiful day ~

Dear Tracey,
Your daughter looks wonderful and she has really got the posing down !!....and, it looks as if your neice Sophie will be following in Caighton's footsteps!!
We, too, are having some warm weather. We haven't had hardly any rain for so long that we are expecting a hose pipe ban !! I do sometimes think that people have the wrong idea about the UK.....it doesn't always rain !! haha.
Have a lovely week Tracey.
What a beautiful girls! And a cute design of course...

Hi Tracey,
She is definitely a sassy one and so beautiful!!~
It reminds me of when I was little, I loved to pose, now I'm a bit shier. :)
I absolutely adore the dress she has on, and it is just perfect with her boots.
And how precious your little niece is, it makes me long for a baby girl, but I'm not sure hubby would agree about having another one, our 2 boys are quite a joyful handful! :)
Hope you have a lovely day.
Sincerely,
Melinda

Your little angel looks so pretty in that adorable dress. It looks great with the cowboy boots! I have to take a peek at Jeanne's shop! Sophia is precious, too!
Our Chicago weather has decided to skip spring and go right into summer! At least it feels that way! My daffodils and tulips are coming up. I pray we don't get a frost!
XO,
Jane

The dresses are cute but the model are adorable!!
Your kids look so nice and pretty. And dresses is too good. I like pattern and design of your dress. You have done great work.
Oh so precious! And the boots with the horsey purse are just too cute with that dress! That's a beautiful prairie backdrop too, what a team you two make, Mom as photographer and Caighton as such a sweet model with a perfect blend of sassy! Your niece is such a little sweetie too. Very charming post and that's a clever "get the look" idea Jeanne came up with! xoxo ~Lili
The girls are sooo sweet Tracey!

Oh dear, Mama. Little girls who really have the "horsey' bug rarely outgrow it. My little darling started riding at age 6, and now at 26 is just as passionate. She rode on her college team, has spent 2 summers as a wrangler at a Colorado ranch, and we built a barn to accomodate her first horse, who still lives with us, and I expect always will. Are there old folks homes that allow horses? Your girls are lovely. Hoping Caighton's pony dreams come true. My daughter wore her first pair of paddock boots to kidnergarten everyday. What can you do?
This is off topic but could you tell us where you purchased your shabby white french bottle drying rack that was sitting on your pallet table in the post for Feb. 16?
Love your blog. Thanks
Nancy Collins
