Good morning!
A big welcome to everyone stopping by from Unskinny Boppy on the 2012 Virtual Holiday House Tour!!! Thank you to Jennifer Rizzo for hosting and planning the house tour!!! I can't believe all of the amazing Christmas inspiration I have seen this week!
Our home is stop number 16. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the house tour, than please go *HERE*
For all of my faithful readers, if you've wondered where I've been, well, my whole family {including me} have been miserably sick! So Christmas decorating is just kind of getting going over here :)
It also means that I have kept all of the Christmas touches so far, VERY simple! But that's okay, sometimes simple can be a good thing!!
{my Paperwhites just getting ready to bloom}
{These darling Christmas stars made from vintage grain sacks, come from my friend Aina's beautiful shop in Norway}
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Please continue on with the house tour and stop over at Traci Thorson's lovely blog!!!
Merry Christmas ~
Tracey

I love your simple but elegant decorating, and everything looks so wonderful. Every time I come to your blog it's like a breath of fresh air. Thanks so much for the tour!
Take care!
Traecy,
I'm so sorry to hear that all of you have been sick....we've been spared so far, but literally everyone around us has suffered with an array of illnesses, so we're not holding our breath! I'm sure our turn will come!
Your home is decked out beautifully...I love all of your simple touches. You've captured your space beautifully.
Feel better!!!
Tracey, it's absolutely beautiful and wonderfully refreshing! A soothing feast for the eyes and encouraging to me, too, to 'keep it simple'! Thank you! =]

Oh Tracy this post is jam-packed full of pinnable goodness! Such beautiful Christmas ideas. I'm SO excited to be a part of the Holiday House Walk with you and Jenn and friends! :)
Just perfection! I'm in awe. :)
Tracey, I enjoyed seeing your home decorated for the holidays. All the simple natural touches look so fresh. I have a question about the paper whites...I have forced paper white bulbs before and found that once they bloomed the scent was over-powering and really not that pleasant. Are there different types of paper whites? If so, where do you buy yours? (I live in the suburbs of Chicago.) I hope you and your family are feeling better.

Oh,one quick question, which I know you've been asked a hundred times, what color paint is on your walls in your dining room and what color is on the walls where you have the old green and white chippy door with the wreath? I love that door by the way, just perfectly chippy! :)
Tastefully simple and perfectly cozy and chic~ love it all! I've been phasing out my red and green Christmas decor over the past few years in hopes of creating a more neutral feel similar to yours. Crisp and natural. Thanks for sharing with us and hope you're all feeling better.
Happy holidays and big hugs!
