Bonjour mes amis!
I wanted to share a few quick photos I have taken over the last month of blooms from the garden. I LOVE filling the house with flowers from the garden! It just makes me so happy to see them :)
The sweet little forget-me-nots are always so cheerful!
I snapped the photo below after a huge storm that we had knocked most of the petals off of my rose bushes. I thought they looked so pretty strewn about! My kiddos have since helped me pull all of the wayward seedlings growing in the cracks among the pavers :))
We came home Sunday night from a long weekend at the beach with the kids and I was so delighted to find that my blushing bride hydrangea was finally, at long last, blooming!! After 6 years, this is the first time that this particular hydrangea of mine has bloomed! I was quite excited :)
A BIG thank you to my friend, Melinda, for sewing some grain sack pillows for me!!! After painting all of our floors grey, I really wanted to add some red into the rooms and lessen the blue accents from before. The red adds the warmth that the rooms need with the grey floors. I sent Melinda a bunch of my favorite vintage, French grain sacks and she was kind enough to sew them all into pillow slips for me. I LOVE how they turned out. Thank you so much sweet Melinda!!!
Hope you enjoy the rest of your day ~
