For the love of Provence...

Bonjour!

I have recently returned from the south of France!  We had perfect weather and everything was blooming and just gorgeous!  I continuously count my blessings that I am able to travel to France regularly and spend time there, with the love of my life, a.k.a. my husband :)  We are so very blessed.

I posted throughout my trip, on my Instagram page, but I just did not have the time to blog too. So I thought I would start sharing some of my photos now here,, as well.

This next little farmhouse cottage took.my.breath.away!  It made me crazy happy to be able to photograph it.  Small, but oh so charming.

The roses all over Provence were just so amazing.  Especially considering we hardly had green grass, let alone anything blooming, in our little suburb of Chicago (the long, extremely cold winter has everything blooming late this year by us}.

This next photo is from one of my favorite villages in Provence ~ Lourmarin...

I will be back with more photos...including some from the poppy fields that I was {a tad bit} obsessed with...

***There are lots of lovely new things in the Flea Market Finds section of the shop!  We had a great time scouring the brocantes and flea markets in Provence and are so happy to be able to bring these items back for the shop!  Many more new items coming in the weeks ahead too.***

Have a wonderful day!

Tracey

Utterly charming. The roses clambering up the little farmhouse make it look like a fairytale.

Oh Tracey!
I have been waiting on the edge of my seat for something new from you and no surprise that it would be France and oh so inspiring. I too get all gitty at a look at the small cottage, yet if I were there I might have had to check if anyone was care taking it so I could take a peak inside!
What about these shutters? I am crazy InLove with the rural rustic charm of France, my deep roots.

Going to take a peak into your etsy shop!
A beautiful week to you, thanking you for all you inspire.

Bisous

Tracey, these are all gorgeous and your enthusiasm is infectious, even for someone who lives here! But I think you would like to know that I bet that the cottage you love was most likely either a train master's house (along the line) or a canal guard depending on what is surrounding it. Does that make sense? Hope so!
xo,
Heather

Isn´t this little house all it takes? In this climate and light. Just that little house, a garden to grow your own food... yeah, this is it...
Thank you for this post, Méa again ;)

Its always so lovely to see France through your lens (eyes). Thank you for posting. I do not use IG or FB so all I see is Blogs and even that is too much for me sometimes and I need to unplug. I prefer a simple lifestyle like your visits to France portray. We can live that way here too if we want to and that is what posts like yours inspire me to do.
